Bob Istwan

As the President and CEO of Motive Companies, Bob brings more than 21 years of industry expertise and experience to his role. His visionary leadership is generating a dynamic new direction for the organization. With an eye to the future, his focus is on unifying and growing Motive’s distinct energy and infrastructure companies into one seamless EPC to deliver a one-stop-shop for Motive’s customers.

Bob is a serial entrepreneur who has had immense success growing his portfolio of companies and has sourced and integrated over 10 acquisitions since taking oversight of the group. He attributes a large portion of his success to pursuing business ventures with people he likes and cares about and treat him accordingly. As such, his extensive network constantly seeks him out with M&A opportunities. 

Bob’s competitive nature in business also manifests itself on the golf course and while jogging, and he also enjoys motorcycles and boats. He also serves as a board member for Dream Street, Orangewood, and Music Movement and is active with Food on Foot.
