HAMPTON, Va., April 14 (UPI) — The U.S. space agency says it has selected five companies to provide its Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., with aerospace vehicle development support.
The companies are Analytical Services & Materials Inc. of Hampton, Va.; ATK Space Systems of Beltsville, Md.; The Boeing Co. of Huntington Beach, Calif.; the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. of Palmdale, Calif.; and the Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. of El Segundo, Calif.
The Structures, Materials, Aerodynamics, Aerothermodynamics, and Acoustics Research and Technology contract is valued at $400 million over five years.
